چکیده
The reactivity of carbonaceous surfaces bears a fundamental role in various fields, from atmospheric chemistry and catalysis to graphene nanoparticles. This is mainly driven by the surface chemical composition strength interaction between adsorbates (physi-/chemisorption). While complex natural samples can be well characterized, adsorption energies (ergo, processes) corresponding adsorbate/adsorbent systems are often overlooked. We propose novel laser-based method for measuring energy species on surfaces. proof concept this original has first been demonstrated deriving consisting polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons activated carbon. great potential fast, spatially resolved, surface-sensitive method, which also act as defect density probe at mesoscale, further through study increasing complexity.

A NOVEL FUZZY-BASED SIMILARITY MEASURE FOR COLLABORATIVE FILTERING TO ALLEVIATE THE SPARSITY PROBLEM
Memory-based collaborative filtering is the most popular approach to build recommender systems. Despite its success in many applications, it still suffers from several major limitations, including data sparsity. Sparse data affect the quality of the user similarity measurement and consequently the quality of the recommender system. In this paper, we propose a novel user similarity measure based...
متن کاملA Novel Trust Computation Method Based on User Ratings to Improve the Recommendation
Today, the trust has turned into one of the most beneficial solutions to improve recommender systems, especially in the collaborative filtering method. However, trust statements suffer from a number of shortcomings, including the trust statements sparsity, users' inability to express explicit trust for other users in most of the existing applications, etc. Thus to overcome these problems, this ...
متن کاملC O adsorption on carbonaceous surfaces : a combined 2 experimental and theoretical study
We present an experimental and theoretical study to provide further insight into the mechanism of CO chemisorption on 2 carbonaceous surfaces. The differential heat of CO adsorption at low and high coverages was determined in the temperature 2 range 553–593 K. We found that the heat profile has two distinct energetic zones that suggest two different adsorption processes. In the low-coverage reg...
متن کاملCo2 Adsorption on Carbonaceous Surfaces: a Combined Molecular Modeling and Experimental Study
Introduction Gasification of coke, char and graphite with CO2 has been a research focus for several decades. However, our understanding on the mechanism of this industrial important process is still limited. For instance, the mode of adsorption of CO2 on carbanaceous surfaces, i.e. a molecular or dissociative adsorption, is not known for certain, Though, it is generally believed that CO2 is che...
